From when Mangala Gauri Vrat are Starting ??
According to the Hindu calendar, the month of Sawan is starting from Monday, July 22. The first Monday of Sawan is on 22th July. The second day and day of Krishna Paksha of Sawan month is Tuesday. On this day the first Mangala Gauri Vrat of Sawan will be observed. On this day Maa Mangala i.e. Mother Parvati is worshiped by all the Vidhi and married women keep a fast on this day {on Tuesday of Sawan} to get unbroken good fortune.
According to the Hindu calendar, there will be a total of four Tuesdays in the month of Sawan. Mangala Gauri Vrat will be observed on these four Tuesdays. Let us know the list of all four Mangala Gauri Vrat.

What is Mangala Gauri Pujan Vidhi?
On the occasion of Mangala Gauri Vrat, it is customary to wake up early before sunrise and take a bath. Wear clean clothes and place a red cloth at the worship area in your home. Set up the idol of Maa Mangala, also known as Mother Parvati, on the cloth. Perform the worship rituals for Goddess Parvati with utmost devotion. After observing a fast throughout the day, break it by having a meal in the evening.
What is Mangala Gauri Vrat Katha?
In a city, a businessman was living a happy life with his wife. He had no shortage of wealth and was living a happy life. But the businessman had only one sorrow that he had no children. That’s why despite having all the comforts, both the husband and wife were not happy. He remained engaged in worship day and night and after much worship, he was blessed with a son.
But at the time of his birth, astrologers said that he was short-lived and would die of snake bite as soon as he turned 16. After knowing this, the husband and wife became even more sad. But he accepted this as his and his son’s fate. He married his son to one Sukanya even before he turned 16. The mother of this girl used to observe the fast of Maa Mangala Gauri and she also advised her daughter to keep the fast of Maa Mangala Gauri for a happy life after marriage. After marriage, the girl came to her in-laws house and observed Mangala Gauri fast as per the rituals and worshiped Maa Gauri. As a result of which she received the blessings of Akhand Saubhagyavati and the death of Seth’s son was averted. Since then the recognition of Mangala Gauri Vrat has increased more.
