Holi 2024 Puja Method

Holi Pujan is a significant festival ritual that involves prayers to God, demonstrating dedication and gratitude for a happy and prosperous life.

Preparation:

Before, starting the Holi Puja, clean the house and decorate the Vedika with flowers and colors, place a picture or idol of Lord Krishna and Radha on it.

Offering

To honor God, it is customary to offer flowers, fruits, sweets, and other items while lighting a Ghee lamp. After that, offer a coconut, betel leaf and some money as a form of dakshina.

Chanting

Reciting mantras and bhajans dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha Ji such as Hare Krishna, Radhe-Radhe, and Shlokas from Bhagavad Gita is recommended.

Holika Fire Rituals

Light a bonfire (Holika Dahan) on the eve of Holi. Gather around the fire and pray to Lord Vishnu or Lord Shiva. Also, offer coconut, peanuts and other items to the fire as a hawan.

Colours Plating Colour Offering

On the day of Holi, mix turmeric powder, kumkum (vermillion) and rice flour in a bowl, sprinkle it on the picture or idol of Lord Krishna or Radha and offer it to God. It represents the colors of Holi.

Offering

Prepare special dishes like Gujiya, Mathri, Dahi-Bhalla, offer to God as Prasad and distribute them among the devotees.
